Best GPU for 1440p Gaming in 2026
Every budget covered. From budget builds to high-end flagships.
Update, August 2026: the budget brackets below are MSRP brackets, and almost nothing sells at MSRP now. Per our August 2026 GPU Price Index, the RX 9070 XT is $699.99 rather than $599, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is $618 rather than $429, and the RTX 5080 is $1,399.99 rather than $999. In practice every recommendation has slid up about one bracket, so the "$400 to $600" row is really a $600 to $800 row today. The card rankings still hold, since the whole board moved together; the prices attached to them do not. Each card links to its price page, which shows the last recorded eligible low and check date. Confirm today's offer at the retailer.
